The primary role of the Global Demo Innovation Services (GDIS) Team is to help enable new sales by enhancing standard product and developing tailored solutions to meet specific demonstration needs. Leveraging Infor's technology platform and extensibility tools, the team combines their technical expertise with insights from Solution Consultants to rapidly build tailored prototypes to showcase the art of the possible.
As the Manager of the US GDIS team, you will be managing a team of highly motivated individuals who work closely with the Infor Solution Consulting organization. As the team manager, you will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring adherence to best practices, and upholding the guiding principles that drive our success. To excel in this role, you will also need exceptional communication and project management skills to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring timely deliveries while keeping stakeholders informed of progress throughout.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Acting as point of contact for solution consultants and other stakeholders. Both proactively and in support situations.
- Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring timely deliveries while keeping stakeholders informed of progress throughout.
- Manage escalations that might arise from demo solutions development and its usage.
- Making sure that best practices and guiding principles are being followed, and over time, help identify and drive process improvements.
- Promote PBM and provide input and feedback to team member RRE's.
- As team manager, you are responsible for maintaining smooth daily operation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Saas environment building software solutions.
- Project management experience.
- Experience managing a team in technical environment.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with presenting to all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing escalations that might arise from demo solutions development and its usage.
- Experience researching and resolving technical and/or software-related escalations.
- Experience working with the Infor Technical & Cloud Platform.
