Job Description
As a Cash Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for :
- Processing bank statements and updating matching rules within the system when applicable
- Inputting and processing daily cash receipts from statements, cheques, and credit cards
- Performing standard cash allocations
- Reconciling associated General Ledger
- Actioning refund payments by appropriate method
- Preparing bank reconciliations for all bank accounts controlled by the SSC
- Investigating and resolving all reconciling items identified in the reconciliation process
- Preparing reconciliations for all credit card and petty cash balance sheet accounts where applicable
- Preparing reporting on cash movements to assist cash-flow analysis where applicable
- Preliminary investigation and resolution of unidentified and unapplied payments
- Allocation of such unallocated payments to appropriate systems
- Allocation and reconciliation of funds pertaining to Agent Order Files (SSC Specific)
- Liaising with internal and external customers
- Resolving queries from both internal and external customers
- Preparing reporting credit balances (SSC Specific)

The pay range for this position is $18-$20 / hour depending on experience.
