You'll play a key role in boosting revenue for our MarTech portfolio. How? By spotting new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and managing important accounts.
Reporting to CMI's Head of Sales, you'll handle the entire sales process. This means:
- Finding new leads
- Reaching out to prospects
- Managing accounts
- Keeping clients happy
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes the initiative

- Can keep up with the fast-moving MarTech world
Business Development (80%)
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and surpass revenue targets and sales goals
- Connect with potential clients through a proactive outreach schedule, using various communication methods
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, uncovering new opportunities within accounts
- Create and deliver customized proposals to clients, highlighting our event and digital solutions that align with their objectives
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of events and major accounts, focusing on sustainable growth and client satisfaction
- Keep abreast of market trends and share insights on emerging opportunities and challenges with product teams
- Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, building client relationships and identifying new prospects
Reporting and Analytics (10%)
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance using Salesforce, ensuring precise account management and revenue tracking
- Share sales progress, pipeline activities, and key insights with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Offer constructive feedback to enhance sales strategies and improve client offerings
Support and Collaboration (10%)
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth delivery of client commitments
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to enhance client experiences and uncover additional opportunities
- Engage in ongoing learning through training sessions and industry events to stay current on trends and refine your sales expertise
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in our CRM systems
You'll bring:
- Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in business development or account management
- A track record of exceeding sales targets through strong networking and relationship-building
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines
- Clear and persuasive communication, both verbal and written, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to travel for client meetings and events
Nice to have:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Familiarity with conferences and events
Compensation:
- Salary: $75,000 to $85,000, plus commission.
