About the Role
We are looking for a crypto-native Product Lead to work closely with our team on defining and executing the product roadmap and strategy to bring this transformative technology to market. The goal is to iteratively realize the potential of the Cycles vision through delightful products that impact the lives of real customers. The first Cycles product is a stablecoin based payment, lending, and borrowing application that contains the core of the Cycles Protocol and conceptual model. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the current crypto payments and DeFi landscape and a passion for transitioning financial use cases onto blockchain technology. Product experience within the crypto, payments, and finance industries is essential. Ideally, the candidate will have a technical background to play a key role in leading software development efforts alongside product strategy.

What your primary responsibilities will be:
- Own the product vision, feature set, and roadmap. You will conceive, build, and maintain product, platform, and tooling features that deliver on our customers needs.
- Take a leading role with the development team, leveraging your technical expertise to help prioritize project epics and sprints.
- Work directly with current and potential customers to understand their needs and prioritize development accordingly.
- Contribute to product design, development, testing, integration, and distribution.
- Build strong relationships with integration partners and distribution channels to get our products into the hands of businesses.
- Work closely with the executive team to support the development and growth of Cycles at Informal Systems.
What we look for in a successful Product Lead:
- You have more than 5 years of total product management experience, having shipped several commercial products or platforms. You have at least 2 years of product experience working in the crypto industry. This is not a junior position so experience is a must-have
- You have previous domain expertise working for a crypto protocol, an exchange, or a finance focused application
- Ideally you have previous technical experience with building financial products in Web2 and Web3
- You are tremendously excited by the prospect of financial services built on crypto assets and public blockchain infrastructure
- You are detail-oriented, highly analytical and comfortable digging into data.
- You have led numerous complex product initiatives from inception to completion and have successfully maintained and expanded products that generated revenue
- You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, and are adept at interacting with customers, executives, architects, and developers. You can influence stakeholders and build consensus
