SAP ABAP Integration Specialist - Responsibilities:
This position will provide hands-on SAP expertise to design, develop, test, and implement programs including reports, interfaces, and data conversions. Adhere to and enforce software development methodology on projects for consistent results.
Follow project procedures for the preparation, execution, and validation of change control documentation. Test and debug programs to verify accuracy and completeness.
Design and execute user acceptance testing and procedures with Business Systems Analysts and business utilizing advanced in-depth knowledge of business processes.
Creates technical specifications for SAP-based software applications that improve business processes. Write and documents software code that results in desired functionality within SAP.
SAP ABAP Integration Specialist - Required Skills - MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor’s degree required (or commensurate technical experience)
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming. Advanced in-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP with experience in design and development in the modules SD, MM, FI/CO
- Must have worked on ALE/EDI, IDOC Configurations, Custom IDOC development, RFC and BAPI development, User Exit, Field Exit and BADIs, EDI.
- Experience with ABAP CDS views, HANA Studio, HANA DATABASE View BW experience is plus, Business Objects Experience (ABAP CDS Views is a required skill)
- SAP PI/PO, SAP ALE data integration using industry specific adapters including CIDX, IDOC, FILE, RFC, SOAP, REST, Mail, and HTTP.
- Must be able to provide configuration and support for end-to-end integration in order to integrate SAP ECC 6.0 with other SAP and non-SAP systems
- Design, develop, and modify ABAP programs (Standard and Interactive reports), Module Pool programming, Menu Painter, Screen Painter, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, Conversions, Interfaces, Function Modules, LSMW, OSS Notes, SAP Query, SAP Adobe Interactive forms and BSP. Must ensure ABAP code is in adherence to development standards as well as create supporting documentation.
- Experience with development of batch data conversion programs using LSMW, BDC, Data dictionary, and Batch job management.
- Experience in debugging and should have the ability to analyze existing processes and provide innovative solutions. Experience with runtime Analysis, SQL Trace, and Code Inspector tools utilized in SAP ABAP Implementation and developing applications using SAP Workflow.
- Design and develop business processes utilizing Enterprise Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Must be able to work with Business users and Analysts to understand requirements and convert them to functional/technical specification documents.
