This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of these systems while adhering to U.S. government risk management frameworks such as NIST 80-0-52. The administrator will handle system administration tasks, perform regular updates and security patches, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and develop robust backup and disaster recovery strategies. This role requires collaboration with IT teams to integrate and support various applications and services, ensuring comprehensive documentation and compliance with security protocols. Additionally, the subcontractor will assist in the development of Plans of Action and Milestone (POA&Ms), Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Risk Based Decisions (RBDs) for deficiencies found during the information system authorization process. Job duties include : Administer and optimize RedHat Linux systems, OpenShift, VMWare, and Clouderaplatforms including authentication, cluster management, user management, monitoring,performance and data management.Implement and enforce security measures to meet NIST 800-53 standards.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance.Manage system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure system integrity.Develop and enforce backup and disaster recovery plans.Provide support for system configurations, user management, and access control.Document system configurations, procedures and updates.Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and manage applications and servicesQualificationsClearance Required : DOD Top Secret or DOE Q or higher required prior to considerationRequired Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, orequivalent experience.At least five years' experience with RedHat Linux, VMware, and OpenShift cumulativeAt least two years of experience supporting development of information system securityauthorization packages in accordance with Risk Management Framework (NIST 800-37,800-53, 800-53a)Strong understanding of system security principles and experience with NIST 800-53compliance. Proficient in system performance tuning, troubleshooting and problemresolution.Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functionalteamsDesired Experience : At least 3 years' experience with Cloudera Data Platforms (CDP)At least 1 year experience with Denodo data virtualizationAt least 1 year experience with Neo4j development and administration or other graphdatabase technologies.At least 1 year experience with LakeFS, RedHat OpenShift AI or other data versioningand MLOps tools.Knowledge of infrastructure security, endpoint protection, vulnerability managementtoolsRelevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, VCP, CCA) are a plus.Salary range : $110k-$140kAbout IMGFounded in 1987, IMG is a leading small business that exemplifies competence, integrity and follow-through.
