Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) is seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful, professional, and dedicated Investigator to join our Private Investigations division. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This position will be responsible for conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and providing comprehensive reports to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting surveillance and gather information on subjects as requested by clients.
- Locating, gathering, and recording evidence in a discreet and legal manner
- Conduct complex investigations to include interviewing of interviewing of witnesses, victims, and suspects to obtain relevant information.
- Create concise and accurate reports that contain findings.
- Collect, evaluate, and develop evidence in a timely manner.
- Communicate effective and professionally, both verbal and written with INA staff, clients, and attorneys.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure ethical conduct at all times.
- Testify in court as needed regarding findings and evidence.
- Stay updated on local laws and regulations related to investigations.
- Manage case files and documentation in an organized manner.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-3 years law enforcement, military, private investigation, or a combination of experience preferred.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license, insurance with reliable transportation required.
- Background Screening: Ability to pass INA's pre-employment background check, including drug screening and criminal history evaluation.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including before or after shifts, nights, and weekends as required.
- Physical capability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Physical capability to walk, run, and maneuver over uneven terrain or pavement.
- Ability to be exposed to all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry over 25 pounds.
