Overview:
IRG clients are seeking a qualified professional entity to serve as a Cost Allocation Contractor. The selected contractor will support and maintaining compliance with federal regulations, optimizing federal funding, and updating the Cost Allocation Plan (CAP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Cost Allocation Plan (CAP) submissions to ensure compliance with federal regulations, including drafting CAP narrative edits.
- Identify opportunities to increase federal funding for eligible activities and modify software configurations as needed.
- Assist in cost impact calculations for CAP updates.
- Support the Comptroller in responding to inquiries from Cost Allocation Services and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
- Provide at least four (4) hours of annual onsite training focused on cost allocation principles related to Medicaid.
- Advise Senior Leadership on the applicability of cost allocation principles and federal administrative claiming regulations.
- Perform updates and optimizations to AlloCAP software to enhance usability and issue identification.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in:
- Medicaid Cost Allocation Plan (CAP) methodologies.
Federal administrative cost claiming.
- Application of CAP methodologies in Medicaid programs.
Strong knowledge of federal regulations, including but not limited to:
- 2 CFR 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements.
- Cost Principles for federal funding.
- Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
- Experience in configuring and updating AlloCAP software for Medicaid cost allocation.
