Job Title: Desktop Support Technician (Local to AZ Only)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: One Year contract with possibility of extensions.
Job Overview:
IRG Clients is seeking 1 to 2 experienced Desktop Support Technicians to support the End-User Device Replacement Program, an annual initiative aimed at replacing approximately 2,500 business computers that are no longer under warranty and around 5 to 6 years old. This program ensures city staff have the appropriate technology to meet modern software requirements and provide efficient, reliable customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute plans by deploying and replacing end-user computers across city departments.
- Image and configure new computers to meet city standards and user requirements.
- Address technical issues that may arise during the replacement process, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to track progress, troubleshoot hardware/software problems, and ensure successful deployment.
- Provide user support and training, as needed, during the transition to new equipment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in desktop support and computer imaging.
- Experience with Tanium is highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Additional Details:
- Interviews will be conducted remotely.
- On-site work required for computer deployment and support.
