Role: Oracle Financial Specialist Senior
Location: Providence, RI- Hybrid
Duration: One Year contract with possibility of extensions
We are seeking an Oracle Financial Specialist Senior to lead and assist in supporting, maintaining, and developing the Oracle EBS Financial System (FMS). The role involves working on key Oracle ERP modules and collaborating on system integrations, reports, and enhancements.
Responsibilities:- Enhance and support Oracle R12 Financial Management System (FMS) processes.
- Collaborate with WorkDay HCM/Payroll and Financial Integration teams for data mapping and integrations.
- Work on Bridge Integrations between Oracle FMS and Workday, focusing on Purchase Orders, Invoices, General Ledger, Grants, Accounts Receivable, and Projects.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle ERP systems, including custom transaction processing between RIFANS Oracle ERP and FMS.
- Design and develop new reports and update existing Oracle FMS reports to support integration needs.
- Provide technical leadership to address new areas of work and ensure system continuity as FMS sunsets by October 2025.
- Extensive experience in Oracle ERP, specifically Oracle R12 Financial modules such as Grants Management, Inventory, HRMS, Time and Labor, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
- Expertise in designing and developing custom solutions, including:
- Interfaces using SQL and PL/SQL.
- RICE Objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions).
- Oracle tools: Oracle Forms 10g, Reports 10g, Discoverer Reports 11g, XML Publisher, BI Publisher, and OBIEE Reports and Analytics.
- Workflows and Oracle Application Framework.
- Development with Java, XML, and scripting languages (e.g., UNIX Shell, JavaScript).
- Proficiency with Oracle Database 12c and tools such as JDeveloper and SQL Developer.
- Experience with financial system integration projects, especially Oracle-to-Workday integrations.
- Familiarity with multi-chart-of-accounts environments and transaction reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with integration teams.
This position will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of the Oracle Financial System and the transition to WorkDay HCM/Payroll integrations, contributing to the long-term success of the organization's financial operations.
