Title: Enhanced Information System (EIS) Designer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: At least 6 Months from projected start date
Hrs/Wk: 20/hr. Wk.
Note: Client is in need of a .NET Core expert to upgrade and redesign an existing Enhanced Information System (EIS) application which was purpose-built for our Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property Management and Property Insurance offices. 100% remote, 20 hours /- per week
Project Overview
- The existing environment used to manage this data and make it available for use consists of a .NET Framework 4.0.0 application (ASP.NET VB.NET) running on Windows 2016 Server with IIS version 10.0.14393.0.
- The contractor is expected to upgrade the existing application to the latest .NET CORE version as well as make several changes to the database and function of the application to enhance functionality.
- Access is both internal to our agency, and externally by other agencies. The web front end will be modernized as well to improve appearance as well as function.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of VB.NET, .NET Framework, .NET CORE programming
- Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), and SQL database
- Proficient with IIS configuration
- Proficient with Windows Server versions 2016 and 2025
- Knowledge of geocoding
- Knowledge of Enhanced Information System (EIS)
