Infrastructure Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Systems Administrator, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. We’re looking for someone with strong experience across Linux, Windows/Active Directory, VMware, and networking to support both daily operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers and related hardware
• Manage Active Directory, forests, and group policies
• Monitor system performance, apply updates/patches, and ensure security compliance
• Deploy and upgrade VMware environments
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Automate tasks using shell scripts or scripting languages like Bash or Python
• Support infrastructure builds, testing environments, and prototype systems
• Maintain documentation and support system audits
• Participate in an on-call support rotation

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 10 years of experience in systems administration
• Strong background in Linux OS (Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Experience managing Active Directory and Windows Server environments
• Hands-on experience with VMware deployment and upgrades
• Familiarity with network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet)
• Experience in the aerospace or mission-critical environments
• Exposure to IaC tools, Red Hat Satellite, IdM, or Docker/Kubernetes
