Human Resources Fellow – Part-Time
Position Summary
The Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) is the premier global advocate for technology, representing the world’s most innovative companies. Reporting to HR Generalist, the HR Intern will be supporting our HR Team and be part of our Operations and Finance department.
Your responsibilities:
- Updating employee records in our internal databases with new employee information.
- Filing employee forms in electronic employee files and assisting with organizing files on SharePoint site.
- Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks.
- Screen resumes and application forms to identify prospective employees to fill company job vacancies.
- Conduct initial phone interviews with qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews with potential shortlisted candidates.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed (new hire reports, anniversary, birthday reports for staff meetings etc.).
- Help in monitoring and structuring HR metrics to empower the HR department in leveraging data analytics for HR initiatives.
- Participate in organizing company events.
- Complete employment verifications.
- Assist with onboarding of new employees.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HRM or studying toward a degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum one-year experience of working in an office environment.
- Basic understanding of labor laws.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Office 365).
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with confidential sensitive information.
