8 Required - Experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices

4 Required - Documented experience developing wireframes, mockups, & prototypes in Figma or comparable design software
3 Required - Experience ensuring designs and website conform to federal accessibility guidelines

POSITION OBJECTIVES
- Enhance Early Childhood Integrated Data System: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for the early childhood integrated data system project. Ensure the data system aligns with the agency's mission to improve outcomes for Texas students.
- User Experience Design: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Develop user experience designs that adhere to agency-wide design standards and industry best practices. Partner with the product team to create intuitive and effective design solutions.
- Requirements Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the program/customer community and the software development team. Document and manage requirements throughout the software development life cycle. Verify that all requirements are met, including post-implementation enhancements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams and departments.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all design and development work meets quality standards. Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain high standards of work.
