POSITION OBJECTIVES
1. Develop Comprehensive Test Cases:
Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to create
detailed and effective test cases.
2. Execute Testing Procedures:
Perform manual and automated functional and regression testing.
Document and report all issues, test cases executed, test results, and testing
summaries comprehensively.
3. Ensure Data Integrity:
Conduct manual testing and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
4. Perform Data Analysis:
Utilize SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data as needed for testing purposes.
5. Collaborate with Development Teams:
Work closely with development teams and customers to understand the functionality
under test.
Define and implement test case automation and communicate effectively with the
team.
6. Conduct Performance and Accessibility Testing:
Execute performance and accessibility testing to ensure the software meets required
standards.
7. Support Project Implementation:
Facilitate the implementation of all applications and projects within the Texas
Education Agency by providing robust QA support.

Years Required / Preferred Experience
7 Required - Testing complex Web Applications
7 Required - Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
3 Required - Database/SQL Language
3 Required - Creating Automation test cases
2 Required - API, JSON, MXL
5 Preferred - Test automation experience using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks
5 Preferred - Experience with test frameworks such TestNG, JUnit, BDD
2 Preferred - Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST)
1 Preferred - WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools
1 Preferred - Experience testing .NET applications
1 Preferred - Experience working with Power BI
1 Preferred - Previous experience with Zephyr Scale preferred
1 Preferred - Previous experience with JIRA preferred
