Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-12 noon after training.
Essential duties:
- Successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of account information in a database system; including but not limited to compiling data and entering data in Excel and working with Quickbooks
- Retrieving invoices and ensuring it is recorded properly in excel and Quickbooks
- Calling vendors to retrieve missing invoices and reviewing them for accuracy.
- Ensure financial information and accounting records are accurate and up-to-date
- Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer and processing backups
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Researches and analyzes financial variances
- Light bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
- High school diploma and at least 2-3 years of bookkeeping or related experience
- Experience in Quickbooks is a must
- Must have data entry skills
- Must have experience in GAAP
- Intermediate level Excel
- Needs to know how to use Microsoft office products
- Attention to detail, producing accurate and high-quality work
- Ability to meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high demand work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The pay is based on the local market and on the skills that the individual brings to the opportunity as a Jr. Bookkeeper. Generally in the $23-25/hour range DOE.
