The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Under the direction of the Information Technology Specialist 4, within the User Interface and Support team, the incumbent will hold the role as a lead front-end developer. This role is designated to work closely with application development teams, framework platform teams, and department architects to help contribute to the department's new SPA/PWA platform and assist application teams their projects. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: - Developing and designing new native web component that integrate with the Core UI framework.- Developing and maintain framework level tooling using NodeJS- Developing and maintain the Core UI SPA framework- Participate in technical and design review meetings.- Work with application teams to review business requirements, troubleshooting application code, and provide development guidance- Preform SPA/PWA application testing, debugging and implementation activities.- Help enforce platform and department UI and accessibility standards
