Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer to work for our company.
Summary:
- Must have an active U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Eligibility (Sponsorship will not be provided)
- Will lead the design, execution, and automation of testing processes. Will ensure quality, reliability, and compliance by developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to drive continuous improvements.
Requirements:
- Must have an active U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Eligibility (Sponsorship will not be provided)Must have one of the following DoD IAT Level II Certifications: CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security CE, SSCP, CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCES, GCIH.Must have 10 years of relevant IT experience.
- Must 5 years’ experience executing tests of systems (hardware and/or software) to evaluate results against specifications.
- Must have 3 years of experience designing a data analysis structure, determining scope, infrastructure, resources, and data sample size to ensure system requirements are adequately demonstrated.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Must have previous experience with Test and Evaluation (T&E) supporting U.S. Government acquisition programs.
- Must be familiar with INSCOM and Multi Domain Operations.
- Must have experience in the creation, customization, and implementation of T&E Strategies, Master Plans, and/or System Evaluation Plans/Reports evaluating requirement and test plans.
- Must have experience with Agile testing, creating automated testing, collecting, verifying, and validating test data.
- Must have previous experience using protocol or packet analysis tools; virtualization, creating simulated/virtual computing environments.
- Previous experience setting up and configuring wired and wireless networking devices in a test environment.
- Must have knowledge network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).
- Must be able to write at a professional and technical level. Should be able to translate data and test results into evaluative conclusions.
Preferences:
- A current certification from a network vendor (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
- A current DoD IAT Level III certification (CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCED, GCIH)
- Previous use of automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CEEC capabilities.
- Previous experience with vSphere.
- Previous experience with python and Linux.
- Previous experience in using COTS and FOSS security tools (Suricata, Snort, etc.) is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
