Reference Specialist

Description

As a Reference Specialist at InformData, you will be responsible for obtaining personal and professional reference information from individuals and employers provided by the candidate, as well as renter information from landlords for tenant verifications. Your role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the reference data we collect, helping to validate identity and build trust with our clients. Working remotely, you’ll contribute to a high level of professionalism, reliability, and trust in the services we provide. Duties and Responsibilities 

• Handle inbound and outbound calls as well as emails to professional and personal references to obtain candidate information. 

• Handle Inbound and outbound calls to landlords for tenant verifications. 

• Maintain professionalism on calls and in all internal and external communications 

• Maintain and improve quality of results by adhering to standards and guidelines 

• Handle escalated cases to obtain reference and tenant verifications 

• Professional verbal and written communication skills 

• Exceptional active listening skills with ability to capture what is being stated accurately

Working Conditions 

• This position requires the incumbent to work indoors at a desk for extended periods of time and use of workstation.
• The person must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions in a fast-paced, team environment. 
• This position may be requested to work overtime on occasion to meet company objectives.
