Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer – Social Commerce & Entertainment Platform (InforReel)
Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
InforReel is a next-generation social commerce and entertainment platform where creators, celebrities, and brands meet their audiences in powerful new ways. We combine music, video, and influencer-led content with seamless in-app product discovery — without paid ads.
Our platform enables curated brands in beauty, fashion, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle to sell through short-form creator videos while empowering fans to discover, promote, and earn. We’re reshaping how commerce and culture collide. We’re preparing for launch and looking for an exceptional Senior UI/UX Designer to help us create experiences that are beautiful, intuitive, and engineered for scale.
- Own the full design process from user research, wireframes, and prototyping to final handoff and usability testing across mobile and web
- Lead and evolve visual direction, design systems, and UI patterns that express the InforReel brand
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and content teams to deliver thoughtful experiences that blend social media with e-commerce
- Design features like creator storefronts, spotlight video shopping, in-app product discovery, brand ambassador profiles, and more
- Apply UX best practices to streamline complex user flows — including onboarding, creator/brand interactions, and social commerce journeys
- Advocate for the user while balancing technical feasibility and business goals in a fast-paced startup environment
- Stay ahead of trends in mobile-first design, social media, and consumer behavior
- 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in social, e-commerce, or creator-driven platforms
- A strong portfolio that showcases end-to-end product thinking and polished interfaces (must include mobile-first design)
- Expertise in Figma and other modern design/prototyping tools
- Solid grasp of UX research, user flows, accessibility, and responsive design
- Ability to design elegant solutions to complex problems quickly and iteratively
- Clear communication skills and comfort working across teams and time zones
- Passion for culture, music, creators, and next-gen commerce
- Experience working in startups or building from zero-to-one
- Knowledge of motion design and microinteractions
- Familiarity with design for global audiences and diverse creator cultures
- Interest in building features that empower creators and fans
- Work on something culture-shifting and truly innovative
