Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in the PCU, including IV insertion and catheterization.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and manage tube feeding as needed.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure adherence to basic life support protocols and airway management techniques.
Qualifications
- Current MI RN License
- Proficient in catheterization, IV insertion, and patient assessment
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- BLS, ACLS (AHA)
- EXPEREINCE IN MEDICATION DRIPS
