Who we seek :
The Senior Director of Education will manage all ongoing BigID Education and University operations to help us grow our cross-domain educational program. The Senior Director of Education will lead the design, planning, and delivery of multiple educational data security and privacy offerings through remote and in-person venues, advance certification and knowledge initiatives, schedule and facilitate learning events, help expand the BigID community, and support the sales and delivery process as needed from the educational side.
This high-visibility role requires strong training design and delivery experience and proven leadership skills. The Senior Director of Education will work with many internal functions to build the cross-domain data curriculum, manage the trainers and content developers, and partner with external industry experts to provide subject-matter expertise.
What you’ll do :
- Develop a comprehensive education strategy aligned with the company's software products and services.
- Develop and implement the vision and strategy for the company's online university, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Lead and manage a team of instructional designers, trainers, knowledge managers, certification managers, and BigID University developers.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to enhance educational offerings to meet market demands.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of educational programs and continuously improve based on feedback and data analysis.
- Schedule and facilitate educational events and programs, including standalone webinars, boot camps, and longer multi-session programs.
- Support education discovery and planning calls with prospects, explaining our training portfolio and helping with course tailoring tasks as relevant.
- Work closely with product management, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure educational offerings are effectively integrated into overall customer engagement strategies.
- Identify opportunities for revenue-generating programs and expand custom training offerings.
- Provide detailed feedback and guidance to Product Management and Engineering teams regarding customer use cases, business requirements, and product enhancement requests.
- Analyze training needs and satisfaction results to improve educational offerings.
- Manage the education department's budget and resources effectively.

The annual base salary range is $180,000 – $220,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is just one component of our Compensation Philosophy. Variable / Bonus Compensation & Equity Incentives align with individual and company performance.
