Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA department, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing QA activities.
- Develop a comprehensive test plan outlining the testing approach, scope, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
- Create detailed and comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure that test cases cover positive and negative scenarios, boundary conditions, and relevant use cases.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Ensure that all software releases are thoroughly tested, adhering to project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product Management, etc.) to define and execute test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to conduct security testing.
- Identify and address vulnerabilities in the software.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Plan and execute performance testing to evaluate the system’s responsiveness, scalability, and stability.
- Monitor and report on test results, product quality, and test coverage metrics.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and testing.
