Systems Architect III - VMWare, VDI, LDAP, MFA

• ROLE TITLE: Systems Architect III
• WORK ARRANGEMENT: 95% remote, ~5% onsite. Clarification from the state on this lead. The onsite frequency will be 'rare' (so maybe less frequent than once a month.
• CLIENT LOCATION: Madison, WI
• START / END: 04/21/2025 - 06/30/2025with the possibility of extension. The state cannot post any job beyond the end of the current fiscal year. Although many or most state jobs may run for multiple years, they are all capped to start within the current fiscal year.
• If they are currently in Wisconsin and have a working history in the state, they need:
• 10 years
• VMWare/VDI Architecture
• Project Management/Leadership Roles
• PowerShell Automation/Scripting
• Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
• Certificate Management (Creation, support, and maintenance)
• If they would need to commute to Wisconsin (1-2 days a month), I would want to see the above items PLUS:
• 14 years (vs 10 above)
• LDAP Configuration
• Multi-Factor Authentication Services (MFA)
• MS Office 365 (Teams, Email, etc.)
• System Administrator for Azure Subscriptions
• Infrastructure Documentation for Complex Systems (Visio, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• VMWare and VDI: Analyze and recommend solutions to improve performance, stability, and cost savings. (10 years)
• Project Leadership: Lead system implementations, set goals, provide technical guidance, and ensure best practices. (10 years)
• Microsoft Windows Server Administration: Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS, and agency-managed application servers. (10 years)
• Certificate Management: Creation, support, and maintenance of certificates for core systems and third-party integrations. (7 years)
