Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled ETL Informatica Developer with strong experience in Grafana to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. As an ETL Informatica Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud Services (IICS). You will also leverage Grafana to visualize, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines and provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud Services (IICS).
Implement best practices for data integration, transformation, and loading processes across diverse data sources.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance of ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Use Grafana to create dashboards for monitoring ETL pipeline health, identifying bottlenecks, and providing real-time alerts and performance metrics.
Collaborate with data analysts, data architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure seamless integration.
Perform data quality checks and ensure data consistency, completeness, and integrity across systems.
Integrate various data sources (e.g., relational databases, cloud data stores, APIs) and ensure proper handling of data movement.
Monitor, optimize, and enhance performance of Informatica jobs, ensuring timely data loading for business intelligence applications.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and system integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5 years of hands-on experience in ETL development with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud Services (IICS).
Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
2 years of experience with Grafana for creating data visualizations, dashboards, and alerts.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory) is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in ETL processes.
Experience with monitoring and managing ETL workflows using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Informatica Monitoring.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data lake architecture and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Informatica MDM experience is a plus.
Exposure to CI/CD pipeline and automation tools.
Experience with other visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
