Job Title: Materials Handler 1 (3rd Shift)
Pay Rate: $21.26/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Shift Timings: 3rd Shift - (8:30 PM - 5 AM)
- Provides material handling support to the warehouse, quality, and production departments to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of material.
- Picking up boxes up to 55 pounds
- Put boxes on carts and palettes, Stack boxes.
- Read, count, and pay attention to details.
- Read and match the number on the scanner and count the number of products completed.
- Will be using a calculator and scanner.
- Forklift experience no required.
- On feet all day long but breaks and lunch
- Going up and down stairs and walking around facility.
- Production, picking, shipping, … experience is a plus
- Is responsible for the safe and damage-free movement of material by use of pallet trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Has the ability to diagnose basic inventory discrepancies.
- Has knowledge of material handling work procedures, pick lists, and protocols.
- Works under the direction of a supervisor and in the support of warehouse, quality, and production team lead and senior assembly personnel.
Requirement:
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- 6 months of Warehouse Picking Experience
- Max lifting weight of 55 lbs
