Job Title: Fitness Trainer (Part time - Up to 10 Hours a Week)
Pay Rate: $25 to $28.72/Hr.
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Draper, UT (Onsite)
Shift timing - Tuesday to Thursday - 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM Mountain time
We are looking for a Fitness Trainer (Part time - Up to 10 Hours a Week)
Summary:
We teach group fitness classes at our fitness center on-site, The main function of a Fitness Trainer is to be responsible for the Stretch Program.
- Responsible for the stretch program including offering guidance to employees on proper stretch form, conducting stretch sessions, and documenting stretch activities
- Act as a backup to team members depending on Fitness Center needs
- Provide quarterly reporting on stretch program utilization and established metrics
- Incidental duties: Complete required training, attending staff meetings, time cards
Additional Skills:
- Must have a proven track record of managing health and wellness programs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sports Science (or related field) Preferred with Group fitness or personal training certification.
- Wide range of group fitness class experience. Ability to teach multiple modalities of fitness.
- Exercise program design
- Demonstration/cueing techniques, music/timing coordination.
- 0-2 years of experience required
