Job Title: Fixed Asset Accountant
Pay Rate: $55 to $60/HR
Duration: 3 months
Location: Detroit, MI
We are looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant.
- Responsible for preparing, validating, and analyzing financial information; preparing journal entries; maintaining fix records; reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis; working closely with our departments to assist with fixed assets and other financial issues.
- Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations, investigating and clearing any reconciling items
- Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with the System’s policy.
- Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly/annual financial statements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Master’s Degree preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
