Job Title: Lab Technician
Pay Rate: $26 to $27/Hr.
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Bay Point, CA
Shift - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Lab Technician will work in Technical Service under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist. Will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
Responsibilities:
- Will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence: - Testing of coatings.
- Evaluate, collect, and record data.
- Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
- Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
- Involved in making cleaners/pretreatments/paints/coatings from chemical ingredients.
- Tests performance characteristics of coated substrates using established procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 -years of demonstrated laboratory experience
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for the preservation of data.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
