Job Title: Materials Handler 1
Pay Rate: $18.38/Hr
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Note: Training will be completed for the first 3-5 days starting at 8:00. Once training completed will then go to 6:30 schedule.Will be on their feet the entire day.
- Provides material handling support to warehouse, quality, and production departments to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of material.
- Is responsible for safe and damage-free material movement using pallet trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Has the ability to diagnose basic inventory discrepancies.
- Knows about material handling work procedures, pick lists, and protocols.
- Works under the supervisor's direction and in the support of warehouse, quality and production team leads, and senior assembly personnel.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- 6 months of Warehouse Picking Experience
- Max lifting weight 40lbs

- Can you work 12 hrs daily?
- Can you work up to 6 days a week?
- Can you stand for long periods (12 hrs on your feet except for breaks and lunch)?
- How do you feel about the daily commuting to this facility, will this contract location be a problem for you?
ADDITIONAL DETAILS :
- Picking up boxes up to 55 pounds
- Put boxes on carts and palette.
- Stack boxes
- Read, count, and pay attention to details.
- Read and match the number on the scanner and count the number of products completed.
- Will be using a calculator and scanner.
- Forklift experience no required.
- On feet all day long but breaks and lunch
- Going up and down stairs and walking around the facility.
- Production, picking, shipping, … experience is a plus
