Job Title: Mechanical Assembler 2
Pay Rate: $27 to $29/HR
Duration: 3 months
Location: Madison, AL
We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler 2.
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Quality inspections on the processing line may be conducted in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Knowledge
- Considerable knowledge of the job.
- Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
Supervision Given and Received
- Direct supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.

Typical Duties and Tasks
- Duties & tasks are varied but standardized.
- Performs some more advanced functions.
- Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex questions to higher levels.
