Job Title: Packaging Technician
Pay Rate: $19/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Newark, DE
Shift 1: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
Job description:
- An Operator completes a wide variety of production and manufacturing-related tasks in Fill/Pack Finished Production Areas.
- This role will involve manufacturing medical diagnostic test kits.
- The position requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, lab coats, and safety shoes.
- PPE will be provided by the Client.
- Individuals may be required to sit or stand for long periods.
- The position requires lifting materials to 50 lbs.
- Based on business needs, individuals may be required to work overtime and/or may be asked to modify their work hours.
- Operate the fill production manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect and package the finished product.
- Verify raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain correct components and quantities.
- Assist and partner with support personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing-related issues.
- Follow production area procedures and area guidelines as written.
- Comply with quality systems and regulatory agencies: FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.
- Follow all area safety rules and procedures.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
