Job Description:
Client is seeking an experienced Web Administrator to lead and support the migration, development, and ongoing maintenance website, which hosts over 3,000 pages. The selected candidate will work within the Communications Division and collaborate closely with IT Web Services, acting as a key liaison for website strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update website content using Drupal CMS.
- Collaborate with IT Web Services on performance, reliability, and security enhancements.
- Test and validate design/code compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance across all content.
- Monitor website analytics and implement SEO best practices.
- Support and train content contributors on CMS use and standards.
- Serve as liaison between Communications and IT to align web strategies.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing technical support for web content.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7 years in web administration and large-scale website management.
- 7 years of experience with Drupal CMS (content, taxonomy, navigation).
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex web/UI/UX design work.
- Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization.
- Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
