Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert in website design and development.
• Design, build, and maintain websites using WordPress, Drupal, and custom code.
• Create responsive, cross-browser compatible web interfaces.
• Evaluate and optimize website performance, scalability, and usability.
• Ensure compliance with ADA accessibility and WCAG 2.1 standards.
• Test and debug web applications prior to deployment.
• Maintain and update existing websites as needed.
• Collaborate with designers to execute visual and functional requirements.
• Integrate websites with internal databases and external platforms via APIs.
• Monitor web analytics (Google Analytics preferred) and provide reporting.
• Participate in ongoing trend analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

• UI/UX understanding, cross-browser compatibility (Required 3 years)
• WordPress, Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API development (Required 3 years)
• Web services integration (REST, SOAP) (Required 3 years)
• ADA Accessibility & WCAG 2.1 Compliance (Required 3 years)
• Google Analytics & reporting (Nice to Have)
• Integration with platforms like Workday, social media, etc. (Highly Desired)
• Experience with ESRI or mapping software (Nice to Have)
• Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Highly Desired (Nice to Have)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience managing multiple web projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A professional portfolio showcasing responsive and accessible web designs.
