The RoleAs a Principal, you will lead and manage consulting engagements focused on establishing assurance frameworks for the first line of defense (1LOD). You will be responsible for its delivery with great quality, budget, and staffing. You will collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders and leadership to foster positive relationships. You will also contribute to the firm’s development by guiding and mentoring teams and sharing your expertise. Your insights will be pivotal in advancing Infosys Consulting’s thought leadership in the industry.Consulting Delivery Lead the establishment and enhancement of assurance frameworks for 1LOD within financial services organizations.Gather and analyze key regulatory requirements and processes to design and develop effective data and process maps that meet reporting needs.Conduct interviews / workshops with subject matter experts and process owners to elicit and document assurance requirements.Apply working experience on change initiatives related to key regulations (e.g., CCAR, BCBS 239, CCPA, MIFID) to improve 1LOD effectiveness.Understand key regulatory directives issued by U.S. financial oversight bodies (e.g., Fed, FINRA) to identify processes impacted by specific regulations.Define workflow management and enterprise-wide reporting requirements for compliance reports.Collaborate with clients to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies related to assurance in regulatory reporting.Advise clients on best practices for integrating assurance into their operational processes.Collaborate with client functions (Operations, Compliance, Risk) to assess the impact of regulations on existing policies and controls.Manage end-to-end project execution while proactively identifying issues and recommending remediation strategies.Engage with Regulators and Internal Audit to explain results and methodologies employed for report generation.Practice DevelopmentProvide insights on new and emerging technologies, best practices that enhance 1LOD capabilities, and contribute to the development of service offeringsWork with other practice members to support Infosys Consulting thought leadership activities and develop innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologiesPrepare white papers and participate in industry conferences, webinars, and forumsContribute to practice growth through recruitment, campus hiring and trainingPeople ManagementMentor individuals and guide them through their career progression and developmentCoach and develop junior team members to deliver quality results while promoting professional development Participate in and contribute to practice training activitiesLeverage your professional / social connects to attract talentBusiness DevelopmentLead small, medium sized sales pursuits and business development activities ranging from creation of client proposals to formulating commercial constructs / contractsDevelop and build relationships at senior management and CXO levelsLook for opportunities to formulate and present Infosys Consulting propositions and service offerings What makes you the right candidateMinimum of 10 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry with a strong understanding of the business, technology, and operationsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of educationMinimum 3 years of relevant audit experience within financial services or consulting environmentsStrong understanding of regulatory standards applicable to banking institutions Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with ability to build relationships at senior management and CXO levelsAbility to thrive in an ambiguous environment bringing structure to itStrong background of leading teams, comprising both IT and business specialistsDemonstrated proficiency to convert business requirements into technology solutions with the commercial acumenSuccessful in business development including exposure to sales cyclesEven better if you have MBA or equivalent advanced degree, Industry recognized certifications like CIA, CFSA, CISA, CRMA, CMA, IIA.Domain knowledge of banking products such as deposits, loans, securities, derivatives, etc.Experience with one or more industry standard products like, Audit Board, SAP Audit Management, MetricStream, TeamMate , HighBond, Onspring, Resolver, Hyperproof, Go Audits Collibra, JIRA etc.Knowledge of data analysis skills using SQL and data reporting / visualization tools (like Tableau) will be an advantageExperience in executing programs using Agile methodologiesWho we areWe are Infosys Consulting – the Business Consulting arm of Infosys Limited.
