Business Analyst with Functional Accounting Testing

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst with Functional account testing experience with deep expertise in commercial loan accounting. As a Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Location for this position is Washington, DC. Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of commercial loan accounting and related financial products.
• Experience in Manual Testing & QA, preferably with exposure to financial services or banking applications
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Atleast 4 years of experience in financial services or banking applications.
• Understanding of various QA methodologies such as Black Box, White Box, and Integration Testing.
• Understanding of testing and defect management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, ALM.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform defect investigation and root cause analysis, especially in financial systems.
• Understanding of Chartered Accounts.
• Highly motivated self-driven with a positive attitude.
• Excellent analytical and communication skill.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Planning and Co-ordination skills .

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
