DevOps Engineer

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
• Azure Boards, Github, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Build and deployment of Containerized applications
• 4yrs hands on experience in Azure DevOps, Github, GitHub Actions and YAML scripts
• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems using GitHub Actions.
• Securely manage secrets and application configurations using Azure Key Vaults.
• Provision, modify, and support our cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Manage and optimize Azure resources, ensuring cost-effective and efficient infrastructure operations.
• Automate code deployments, ensuring that we have robust development, testing, and production environments.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Azure Cloud services, networking, and security best practices.
• Administer and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability of our containerized applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
• Stay current with industry trends and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps capabilities.
• Document all DevOps procedures and configurations.
• At least 4 years of experience in Any scripting languages : Shell scripting, Power Shell, BASH, Python.
• Strong experience with GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Proficiency in managing secrets and application configurations with Azure Key Vaults.
• Extensive experience with Terraform for managing cloud resources.
• Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure services, networking, and security principles.
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes, including deployments, monitoring, and scaling.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3 -4 years of experience in Ansible, Ansible Tower.
• Azure Certification: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a strong plus.
• Experience with Large-Scale Migrations: Proven experience managing large-scale, complex cloud migrations, preferably from on-premises to Azure.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in industries such as finance, retail, or healthcare, where security, compliance, and performance are critical.
