What are the responsibilities and job description for the GIS Developer position at Infosys?
Infosys is seeking a GIS Developer - with deep understanding of GIS domain and technical knowledge. Candidate should have experience in implementing GIS solutions for Electric / Gas Utilities specific to ESRI platforms. This position is based out of San Ramon, CA or Oakland, CA. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ramon, CA or Oakland, California or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area and work during PST time zone. This position may quire travel to project locations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Candidate should have experience of playing a Lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Electric / Gas Utilities specific to ESRI platforms.
- Experience in GIS analysis / development / programming with (SDLC) full life cycle development on ESRI tools like ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS online, Survey 123, ArcGIS for Server.
- Experience in creating and analyses maps, cleaning and updating spatial data using ArcGIS for Desktop 10.x and ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience in Agile way of working (Scrum), JIRA & Confluence tools
