As a key driver of business engagement, you will identify opportunities, foster client relationships, and position IPS as a trusted partner in the government sector.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with key decision-makers in state and local government agencies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client priorities, challenges, and policy-driven needs.
- Engage stakeholders at multiple levels to drive awareness of Infosys Public Services offerings.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned region, aligning Infosys solutions with client objectives.
- Lead the development of strategic sales and go-to-market plans for public sector opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, delivery, and technical experts, to craft compelling value propositions.
- Track and manage pipeline opportunities, ensuring alignment with sales targets.
- Lead responses to quasi-Federal and State RFPs, including strategy formulation, solution positioning, and proposal development.
- Ensure high-quality proposals that address client pain points and emphasize Infosys’ unique differentiators.
- Stay ahead of public sector trends, policies, and regulatory changes impacting government procurement.
- Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to refine engagement strategies.
- Represent Infosys Public Services at industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
- Develop insights and thought leadership content to engage government clients in digital transformation discussions.
- 7 years of experience in business development, client engagement, and consultative sales, with at least 5 years in public sector consulting or IT services.
- Proven track record including sales cycles, procurement processes, and contract vehicles.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable IT solutions.
- Need to be located in the New Hampshire ( Portsmouth ) area.
- Experience managing key accounts, client relationships, and sales quotas.
- Knowledge of IT services, cloud solutions, digital transformation, and public sector modernization initiatives.
- Strong negotiation skills, with experience handling complex deals and government contracts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal development skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
