Infosys is seeking a Python Data Engineer This position will add value to a gamut of Software Development life cycle stages; will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualification
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX OR be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Advanced Knowledge Of Python, Including
Familiarity with Python libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Python SQL Connectors, Flask, Django, and Python Decorators.
Experience with parsing APIs and markup languages including XML and JSON.
Proficiency with Multi-threading and Multi-processing in Python.
Significant Experience With SQL, Including
Understanding of Database Normalization & Creation
Proficiency with PostGres and MySQL.
Experience with any relational database flavor.
Knowledge of Query Optimization.
Experience with CI/CD
Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Good soft skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with distributed systems.
Knowledge of Apache Spark and Snowflake.
Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
