What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scala, Spark and Azure Technology Architect position at Infosys?
Infosys is seeking a Scala, Spark and Azure Technology Architect. In the role of Technology Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of Data Solutions Life Cycle including strategy & roadmap, architecture definition, design, implementation, and operations. You will play an important role in defining data strategy, solutions / tools strategy, and architecture directions with clients for building / modernizing Digital solutions powered by Data and AI. You will also do technical feasibility and identify innovative ways to help clients derive value from their data investments. You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore team acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architecting and designing End-to-End Enterprise data engineering solution on Azure data platform (Scala / Pyspark, Synapse, Fabric)
- Strong Data analysis and Data Modelling skills
- Ability to evaluate between various native, third-party and open-source components / services, and propose the right architecture for client needs
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on oversight in developing data processing applications on Spark using Scala programming, focusing on Microsoft Azure Synapse Spark Runtime.
