About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Assembly Line Production Worker to join our growing team at a leading medical device manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in machine operation and assembly line production, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery used in the assembly of medical devices.
- Perform hands-on assembly of small parts/components with high precision and accuracy.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
- Follow cleanroom procedures and safety protocols at all times.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and communicate issues to maintenance or supervisor.
- Assist with machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance as needed.
- Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives on the production floor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in operating production machinery or automated assembly equipment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $19.80 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Rotating shift
- Weekends as needed
