Assembly Line Worker/Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Line Worker / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position involves operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor production machinery (e.g., assembly line machines, CNC machines, etc.) to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the assembly process.
• Assembly Line Work: Assemble components according to specific instructions, ensuring products meet quality standards and are assembled within production timelines.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and verify they meet established quality standards. Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines to prevent delays in production.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain a positive, cooperative work atmosphere.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including tracking outputs, machine maintenance, and other relevant metrics.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in an assembly line or machine operation setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or technical instructions is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Rotating shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Machine Operator: 2 years (Required)
• Medical Device: 1 year (Required)
