Position Overview:
The Compliance Reporting Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial and compliance reports within the banking sector. This role involves preparing and analyzing regulatory filings, adhering to accounting standards, and collaborating across teams to meet reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review compliance and financial reports in accordance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
- Analyze financial data to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance audits and regulatory reviews.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including accounting and legal departments, to gather data for reporting purposes.
- Monitor and interpret changes in compliance regulations and update procedures accordingly.
- Implement and enhance processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of compliance reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities related to compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Respond to inquiries from regulators and internal stakeholders with detailed and accurate information.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mutual fund accounting or reporting.
- Proven ability to comprehend and utilize complex procedures independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Outlook is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to various stakeholders.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $31.01 - $34.40 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
