Funds Accounting Analyst

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Expense Analyst to manage and analyze fund-related expenses, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support budgeting processes. The role involves processing payments, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with policies and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly invoices and handle associated wire payments.

• Analyze fund expense ratios to monitor financial performance.

• Prepare and manage monthly budgets for variable expense accruals.

• Oversee and report on contractual payments and related financial data.

• Create and review expense reports for various timeframes (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual).

• Research and resolve billing, accrual, and expense-related issues.

• Provide ad hoc expense analysis and data as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of mutual fund industry, mutual fund accounting and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently within established guidelines
• Strong analytical skills, computer skills including MS Word and Excel
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· At least one year of mutual fund accounting, expense reporting or related experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
