Position: HR Administrator
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM
Job Overview:
The HR Administrator manages hiring, employee separation, and payroll for hourly employees while supporting the Human Resources Leader with various HR-related tasks. This role is crucial to ensuring HR operations align with plant leadership goals and includes organizing plant-wide events and projects related to employee benefits, engagement, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Management: Maintain employee records, process new hires and I-9 forms, create employee badges, and assist with random drug screenings.
- Employee Benefits: Help with benefit processes and respond to employee inquiries about medical programs, retirement plans, etc.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate with recruiters for staffing needs, schedule interviews, and assist with new hire orientation and pre-hire processes.
- Employee Engagement & Recognition: Support culture-building efforts and coordinate employee engagement initiatives.
- Training & Development: Provide administrative support for training and development activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- 4 years of HR experience preferred.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Payroll system experience is a plus.
