Job Overview
The Machine Operator/ Assembler is responsible for operation of simple automated assembly machines while maintaining the safe and efficient operation. The role involves performing tasks, ensuring the continuous operation of machines, and maintaining the high-quality standards for medical device assembly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Read and understand procedures.
· Operate machines, jigs and fixtures to produce quality products.
· Read and interpret gauges and dials.
· Identify and rectify machine faults, then restart the machine.
· Complete production records and documentation.
· Inspect and test products for quality assurance.
· Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
· Learn and operate simple machines quickly.
Required education, experience and qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferred.
· Ability to read and understand procedures.
· Perform visual inspections with and without magnification tools
· Operate in a cleanroom environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $19.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
- Cleanroom: 1 year (Preferred)
