What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Infotree Global Solutions?
Daily Schedule/Shift Monday- Friday.
Position will start on 1st shift. Eventually by the end of the year will transition to 2nd shift. Will work weekends occasionally. 1 to 2 weekends work including Saturdays and Sundays.
1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm. Potential chance of getting extended to 6am to 4pm. It will be day by day.
2nd shift: 4:00pm-12:30am
Maintenance GL for the Body shop. We are maintaining and improving the equipment. The GL will lead skilled trades anywhere from 15 to 25 people.
? Leading skilled trades. The GL will be responsible for people’s times using Kronos ensuring team is getting paid appropriately. GL is responsible for using GMS to track deliverables on a board. They will have to escalate and correct concerns on the floor. Their main area will be knowing the equipment escalating issues that they can't solve and solving the ones that they can.
It’s a very complex set of equipment. More complex than majority shops. Biggest challenge is getting up to speed for equipment and how the process runs. The GL will work with a very strong group of trades, which will help.
15 to 30 all skilled trades. We have four different trades, millwrights, toolmakers, electricians and pipe fitters.
Education Requirement: Technically background, journeyman’s card. Candidate does not need to have a college degree, but some sort of technical background.
Years of experience: 3 years minimum, 5 years is preferred. Looking for someone that has some management level of experience and has technical experience. For example, three years and the same for technical. It can be overlapping experience, where someone did trade supervision or experience working in the technical field somewhere else. But would like to see both.
Top Skills:
Technical experience: Looking for someone who understands manufacturing body shop process. Knows resistance spot welding, dispense equipment and or visions systems.
Trouble shooting ability: Read mechanical and electrical prints, and experience with ladder logic Need to have at least one of these skills.
Union experience is a large plus. But not a requirement.
