Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products in accordance with quality standards and work instructions. The Manufacturing Assembler will work in a fast-paced environment and be involved in the assembly of products and components used in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products or components based on blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.
- Perform routine inspections of the assembly process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate assembly line machinery and tools (e.g., hand tools, power tools, and machines).
- Maintain accurate production logs, including inventory records, quality checks, and time records.
- Ensure that all safety standards and regulations are followed during assembly.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the assembly process.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform basic quality control checks on finished products.
- Packaging of finished products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Proven experience as an assembler or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and assembly line processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety.
- Excellent communication skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
