Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and validate analytical methods using mass spectrometry techniques for the analysis of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds.
- Facilitate the transfer of validated methods to internal or external laboratories and ensure smooth implementation of new testing protocols.
- Conduct routine and complex analytical testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Analyze mass spectrometry data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports with clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-resolution mass spectrometers to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on mass spectrometry applications for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical testing.
- Hands-on experience with high-resolution mass spectrometers preferred (e.g., Orbitrap, Q-TOF, or similar systems).
- Proven track record in method validation, method transfer, and analytical testing of complex compounds.
- Strong understanding of mass spectrometry techniques such as LC-MS, MS/MS, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as GLP, GMP, and ICH guidelines.
- Experience working with biologics or biopharmaceutical compounds is highly desirable.
